About the Newton Falls Community Treasure Hunt
The Treasure Hunt, organized by Fieldview Acres Mercantile owner Tom Colosimo, officially launched on March 3rd, and has already gained buzz across Northeast Ohio. The first clue to finding the treasure launched on Tuesday online, and will continue with new clues being released every two weeks until it’s found, with a total of 10 clues. This event is free to participate in.
The prize pool started out at $1,000, but with the help of local sponsors like Cole Valley Chevrolet has grown into a pool of nearly $30,000. The prize chest not only has cash, but contains gold and silver coins as well as jewelry. Sponsors are also continuing to join the event as it unfolds, meaning the prize package could grow even more.
