All four of your tires need to have the proper amount of air in them if you want them to properly function while driving on the road. Air pressure helps keep your tires inflated, and the amount of air pressure will affect how your tires can grip the road in a variety of weather conditions.

If you have too much air pressure in one or more of your tires, this can lead to your tires blowing out. If you've ever experienced a tire blowing out before, then you know how scary a situation this can be.

Not having enough air pressure in one or more of your tires can put you at a higher risk of getting a flat tire. The air pressure is necessary if you run over some sort of debris in the road. You could also damage your rims if underinflation is occurring.
